The Western New York Insurance
Association was founded in 1972 to further professionalism, education,
community relations and fellowship within the local insurance community.
Our original name was the "Field Club of Buffalo", but was later changed
to the "Western New York Insurance Association" to better reflect our
diverse membership.
Our membership includes
professionals from insurance companies, agencies and insurance related
businesses such as collision & glass shops, restoration companies and
claims adjusters. Basically, anyone who works in association with the
insurance industry is welcome and encouraged to join.
We are a not-for-profit
organization, that aside from our insurance industry activities, looks to
donate proceeds yearly towards a charitable organization.
In addition to our popular CE
classes, we sponsor a number of monthly functions throughout the year that
provide an excellent opportunity to network with fellow professionals in a
friendly, casual atmosphere.
